1. Agreement to Terms

By accessing or using RecoveryOS ("the Platform"), operated by RecoveryOS ("we", "us", "our"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Platform.

2. Description of Service

RecoveryOS is a housing management platform designed for sober living and recovery housing operators. The Platform provides tools for resident management, billing, document management, communication, and property operations. RecoveryOS is not a healthcare provider and does not provide clinical treatment, medical advice, or therapeutic services.

3. Account Registration

You must provide accurate, complete information when creating an account. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials. You must be at least 18 years old.

4. Subscription Plans & Billing

  • Free Trial: New accounts receive a 14-day free trial with full access and no credit card required.
  • Paid Plans: After the trial, you must select a paid plan to continue using the Platform.
  • Billing: Subscriptions are billed monthly or annually via Stripe. You authorize recurring charges.
  • Cancellation: You may cancel at any time. Access continues until the end of the current billing period.
  • Payment Processing: Resident payments processed through the Platform incur a processing fee.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Use the Platform for any unlawful purpose
  • Store protected health information (PHI) or clinical treatment records beyond what the Platform explicitly collects
  • Attempt to access other organizations' data
  • Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the Platform
  • Use the Platform to discriminate against any individual based on any protected class

6. Data & Privacy

Your use of the Platform is also governed by our Privacy Policy. You are responsible for obtaining necessary consents from residents before entering their personal information into the Platform.

7. Operator Responsibilities

As a housing operator using the Platform, you acknowledge that:

  • You are solely responsible for compliance with all applicable federal, state, and local laws
  • You are responsible for your own HIPAA compliance obligations, if applicable
  • The Platform is a tool to assist your operations — it does not replace your legal or regulatory obligations
  • Drug screening compliance records document whether residents meet sobriety requirements of their housing agreement
  • You will not store clinical treatment records, diagnoses, or detailed medical histories in the Platform

8. Data Security

We employ industry-standard security measures including AES-256-GCM encryption for sensitive personal data, TLS encryption for data in transit, role-based access controls, and multi-tenant data isolation. No system is 100% secure, and you acknowledge the inherent risks of transmitting data over the internet.

9. 42 CFR Part 2 Compliance

RecoveryOS is designed with awareness of 42 CFR Part 2 regulations regarding the confidentiality of substance use disorder patient records. The Platform does not display substance use disorder terminology in user-facing interfaces and implements consent-based access controls for sensitive data. Operators are responsible for ensuring their use complies with Part 2 requirements applicable to their organization.

10. Intellectual Property

The Platform, including all software, designs, text, and graphics, is owned by RecoveryOS. Your subscription grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the Platform for your housing operations.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, RecoveryOS shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the twelve months preceding the claim.

12. Referral & Affiliate Program

Participants in our referral and affiliate programs agree to promote RecoveryOS honestly and accurately. Affiliates may not make claims about HIPAA certification, guarantee specific outcomes, or use spam tactics. Commission is earned only on active paid subscriptions. We reserve the right to terminate affiliate accounts and withhold commissions for violations.

13. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms at any time. We will notify you of material changes via email or in-app notification. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
